Grishna
Grishna wasn't planned. It started out with the Skarthuun steppe arc, and I realized that without a guide, the crew wouldn't last long.
Getting a guide in the Grashaar arc made sense, and it also made sense from an orcish viewpoint with a female guide, which also made sense from a game viewpoint, as a male orc would be someone the steppe orcs wouls see as someone to fight.
I just liked the character, and saw huge potential for personal character development, with her breaking out of the expected role, so I decided to add her to the crew.
