The Last Dawn
This is mostly inspired by the first third of Seveneves by Neal Stephenson. An apocalypse is coming, and the world knows exactly when. It's also inspired by Three Moons over Milford.
It also takes a lot of inspiration from the song "Under the Oak", by Swedish doom metal oldtimers Candlemass, one of two "grandfathers of Swedish doom metal" (the other being Stillborn). If you intend to use this flavor package, set this song on repeat as you plan your campaign.
It's all about how they handle it. What would you do if you only had three years?
