I really liked the idea of a nomad people being the only ones able to cross the great desert. The first notes I made had them riding giant dinosaurs, but when trying to generate images, centipedes worked out so much better, and it felt much more desert anyway.
Their culture also came out nicely, giving them a friendly, but desert-wise feeling. In a way, they are the desert counterparts of the Sea Elves.
