Author's Notes
Caerduin
Carduin is heavily infuenced by ancient Celts. Add in some Slaine, Bonnie Prince Charles, the Wicker Man and clan intrigue and warfare, and you'll have it.
I like the religion, the two sides, sometimes lovers, sometimes, friends, sometimes bitter enemies, but equally worshipped. The duality nicely mirrors the people.
Likewise, I like the concept of them not believing in a afterlife, yet taking pride in being fearless warriors. They put everything on the line when they fight, and they do it without hesitation. To them, deeds are what matters.
