The Licentius Couple
Heavily influenced by the Thenardier couple in Les Miserables. Small time crooks with ambitions much larger than their abilities. They want to break big, but their capacity is just enough for petty crime.
They do, however, commit a lot of petty crime, almost to a point where the crimes becomes a purpose rather than a means.
They are the cockroaches of society, without morals, without considering who they hurt, never taking a fight if they can avoid it, but always taking sneaky opportunities if they can.
I would classify them as "sadly comic."
