Aurelius Platum, the Trader

Background
Aurelius was born in Estoria and has reinvented himself so many times that even his creditors struggle to keep up. He has owned stalls, warehouses, gambling shares, spice contracts, half a ship, three false titles and at least one business that only existed on paper. He has been rich enough to sneer at dockworkers and poor enough to sleep behind a tannery. Each time he falls, he rises again with a new coat, a new story and someone else’s money in his hand.
Aurelius is the team’s trader, fast talker and social knife. He can flatter a priest, bully a clerk, charm a widow and sell damaged silk as "storm-softened luxury cloth." He believes everything has a price, though that price is not always silver. Pride, fear, embarrassment, hunger, lust and boredom are currencies too. Qadir hired him after Aurelius talked an angry creditor into financing the very scheme that had ruined him.
