Marine Skarnulf
The inspiration here is twofold: Gladiator and Wolverine.
Skarnulf is a fighter who started as a joke, being small, the audience expected him to be a pushover. But he fought with cool and calculated tactics, letting the opponent make a mistake, then exploiting it hard and fast. He became the little bear.
I also really like how his back story surface in Luminara, and how it breaks his tough guy image, showing his human side.
Naming him Skarnulf was a mistake, it is way to close to Scarnax, but by the time I noticed, it was too late to fix with a reasonable amount of work, and by that time, he was Skarnulf in my head.
