Druids
Druids are traditionally some kind of magical boyscouts.
I wanted it darker.
My druids doesn't care about life as such, they care about life in the big picture, the cycle of life. To them, a death is an opportunity for other life.
It is not that every life is sacred, it is that all life is sacred. Individual life is meaningless.
This also means that they don't mind sacrifice.
