Merfolk
Once again, a people which has been done a lot, but usually without any depth. Mostly, they are "people, but in water, possibly mythical".
I wanted to give them a culture, a religion, a mentality and a real connection to the sea.
In the end, though, in most cases, they'll probably be used to save characters who is about to drown, but I still wanted to make them fully described.
