Twin Cities
Here, the inspiration comes from Kurosawa's Yojimbo, and it's various remakes (For a handful dollars, Last man standing, Mad Max 3 and many others). The basic premise is two gangs in a precariously balanced, but strained ceasefire, with the small people getting squashed between them.
The question then becomes: Who can tip the balance? And, if someone does, will that make things better, or will it just mean that one side, or an outside force, will take full control and the ordinary people get even more exploited?
