Karuun Rebellion
The main inspiration here, of course, is the Zulu uprising, with Karuun taking the place of Shaka, and the Empire taking the place of the British empire. To add some spice, I added in some voodoo light with the concept of spirit-enlavement.
The panic in the trade stations is mostly inspired by the US evacuation of Saigon, during the Vietnam war.
